Task Description: In math I learned how to solve volume, hypotenuse, perimeter and area. So in the second slide you will see the WALT that says calculate the area of triangles it was pretty easy.

Sewing At Tech

Task Description:  This week in our sewing class. We finally finished our cushion. It was lots of fun makeing it. We had a great experients learning how to sew on a sewing machine so we know how to sew in the future. Thank you Miss Tuipolotu for showing us how to sew and you are very funny.

Happy Birthday Lao Lao

School Hours Persuasive

Hook: Do you know what is persuasive writing?. We are learning how to persuasive people and kids. In my opinion I think that if kids go to school and learn they will have a good and amazing education.

Good Reason:  Learn more or Better education.

I think that if we go to school we will learn more and if we learn more
we will have more fun. One reason to go to school is if you don’t you will have every bad grades in school and have a good education.

Better Reason:  Better future for other kids.

In my opinion I think if we go to school a lot we have good education and a 
better future for lots of the kids in the world. Do you want your kid to learn more
and get a better future then take them to school.

Best Reason:  If we have more time at school we can play more. 

I believe when kids have more play time they will learn more and can have lots
of fun at the park and at class. Play time is a lot of fun for little kids to do if they
play they will learn and learn or just for like 5 minutes more play time. 

Conclusion:

Persuasive writing is a really good for your work. My Opinion is to just go to school
you will learn more and will have lots of fun and you will create lots of things. 

Task Description: This is my persuasive writing. I got 3 reason to write about it. It was OK to write about. Reason one was about to try and do more learning at home and at school and get a better education

that is one of the reason kid should go to school.

Going to the Pool

For the second week of the holidays, on Tuesday the 16th July 2019.
My brother, cousin, auntie and I decided to go for a cold swim at the Papatoetoe pools.

We all got ready and got in the car to go to the pools. After that we went to Why knot (It is a shop). We got to go and get some chips and chocolate for us to eat after the swim.

We arrived at the pools and my brother and cousin jumped right in. I waited for a while then I hoped in too. We were playing around then my auntie joined in as well. I had fun time in the pools.That we started to play bullrush and bus stop. Then we all went home.

Kimchi and Pad Thai

Today in room 4 we are trying some food from Korea. We are tasting some Kimchi and we are tasting some Pad Thai. Kimchi looks so hot to eat it is so red and hooottt. All of my friend say it so hot and spicy to eat. Kimchi  as some pickled cabbage in the kimchi. Pad Thai in pad Thai there is rice noodles and peanuts and it sweet and sourer I really like it. Have you had Kimchi and Pad Thai it is so nice.

Today in room 4 we are trying some food from South America. The food that we are eating is called empanada's it is a tradition. When Mr Stone was making the empanada's that look like dumpling and it look like sweet pie. The empanada's taste like amazing food and it taste like bakery sausage roll.

Year 7 Team Building

Have you ever made truffles?. Last week all of the year 7 had
to step up and be Leaders we did some year 7 team building.
Ms Tapuke and Mrs Stone went to the year 8 camp.
On wednesday we had rotations but it wasn’t sport and not
Te Reo but Mrs Llaoa was did cooking and Mrs Moala was
doing mystery murder and Miss Kelly was doing minutes to win it. My groups name was the lil homies there were two
other group there name are Crazy Horses and the
Pt England OG’S. My first thing we did was we had to go and
make up a name and chance.Our first rotations was cooking
with Mrs Llaoa we had tomake truffles we had to go into 4 group. Then we had the make
the truffles it was a little bit easy and a little bit hard everyone
was eating there almost made truffles. Our next rotations was
with Mrs Moala she was doing mystery murder we had to figure how
was the murder but the first murder mystery is was how did he
die but it was the snake. Then we that to go with Miss Kelly
to play minutes to win it but we had to do coloring but it was
a bird. My highlights was the launched we had lots of hot chips
little chips and lots of food and we play lots of music and make
truffles and we did just dance it was so fun and cool .
