Descriptive Writing


WALT: Describe all the things in a picture.
Task Description: Today for writing we were learning about how to describe the picture. But this is helping us to use more adjective word in our writing. But over all this was really easy to do. But I would really like to do this so other time too.

What is Measurements?


WALT: Convert between metric units.
Task Description: Today's math task was all about measurement but also I learnt abut length. the weight of the object. The thing I had to use during this task was kg, ml, g, mm, cm, m and L. So had to answer the questions. But this task was a but different to the things we have been learning this week and late's week.

WALT: ask and answer questions about what things are.
Task Description: Today for Te Reo Maori we were learning about 6 new Maori words. But the words we learnt was Moe, Takaro, Horoi, Tuhituhi, Panui and Mahi. But in English the word were Sleep, Play, Shower, Write, Read and Work.

Task Description: Today's reading task is all about how we think what are the who are the characters, where are the or where does it went place setting, was is the problem and what did they do the resolution. But what I think of this reading task is that we should do these type of things more often.

Time For Decimals


Task Description: For Math this week we are learning about decimals. I learnt that decimals are also use for money, time, weight, lengths and many more other thing. But learnt how to add and subtract. What we had to do was add and subtract the decimals and also fill in the empty spaces to get the answer. Some tips on how to learn decimal is by looking at it like money and it maybe can help you too.

Reflections Of Camp

Task Description: For today's blog post we had to do a reflections of camp. What we had to do was we had to say what we would want to keep, stop, add or why. Meaning keep what you want to keep or what you want to stop and what you want to add and why do we do these kind of things.

Year 8 Camp

What is Cross games??
My group was Coromandel, and the other groups were called Kauri, Kauaeranga and Thames. The Camp was all about leadership and team work. What we did at camp was we played cross games. Cross games were the games that we played with the owners and the people who work there. The games we played were all about working as a team and helping each other. The games we played were tag and we had to take the other groups tag of them and we had to see how many tags we got. The there games we played was tug of war Coromandel and Kauri boys vs  Kauaeranga and Thames boy and  Coromandel and Kauri girlsvs  Kauaeranga and Thames girls too. But the Coromandel and Kauri boy won and the Kauaeranga and Thames girls won.  

What did we do for Activities??
