WALT: Develop a deeper understanding of the Taniwha of New Zealand

Task Description:  This week I have learnt facts about Taniwha. What we had to do was we had to make a poster about Taniwha and we also had to watch the little video about Taniwha and other myths.  

Descriptive Writing

WALT: Describe all the things in a picture.
Task Description: Today for writing we were learning about how to describe the picture. But this is helping us to use more adjective word in our writing. But over all this was really easy to do. But I would really like to do this so other time too.

What is Measurements?

WALT: Convert between metric units.
Task Description: Today's math task was all about measurement but also I learnt abut length. the weight of the object. The thing I had to use during this task was kg, ml, g, mm, cm, m and L. So had to answer the questions. But this task was a but different to the things we have been learning this week and late's week.

WALT: ask and answer questions about what things are.
Task Description: Today for Te Reo Maori we were learning about 6 new Maori words. But the words we learnt was Moe, Takaro, Horoi, Tuhituhi, Panui and Mahi. But in English the word were Sleep, Play, Shower, Write, Read and Work.

The Sons of Ma'afu

WALT: Work together to deconstruct a narrative text into it's main parts: characters, setting, problem,
resolution.

Task Description: Today's reading task is all about how we think what are the who are the characters, where are the or where does it went place setting, was is the problem and what did they do the resolution. But what I think of this reading task is that we should do these type of things more often.

Learning How To Use Percentages And Decimals And Fractions

Task Description: For this weeks math work we were learning about percentages and decimals and fractions. But learning percentages and decimals and fractions are getting a bit easy for me to learn. But the question was a bit easy, this was easy then the other work problem because that was me and my friend first time learning about percentages and decimals and fractions. But now it is very easy for me to work it out.

Facts About Albania

Task Description:  Today for my home work my mum give me a task to do. Her task for me and my brother was to find a place, animal or person to learn about that start with the letter A. So I wanted to learn about someway different in the world. So the place I was learning about was Albania. I learnt so many fact about the country and it is a very beautiful place in Europe.
