Y7&Y8 Leader Sharing

These are some things the year 8 and the year 7 said when we were all talk about how we were at camp and when the year 7 were at school and doing things to step up. The leaders of the year 7 were Sauma and Bradley, Oalii and Simon, Nina and Mohammed.

Year 8 Camp

What is Cross games??
My group was Coromandel, and the other groups were called Kauri, Kauaeranga and Thames. The Camp was all about leadership and team work. What we did at camp was we played cross games. Cross games were the games that we played with the owners and the people who work there. The games we played were all about working as a team and helping each other. The games we played were tag and we had to take the other groups tag of them and we had to see how many tags we got. The there games we played was tug of war Coromandel and Kauri boys vs  Kauaeranga and Thames boy and  Coromandel and Kauri girlsvs  Kauaeranga and Thames girls too. But the Coromandel and Kauri boy won and the Kauaeranga and Thames girls won.  

What did we do for Activities?? 
The activities we did was 
* slingshots + paint ball
* Go cart 
* Archery
* BMX bikes
* Rope Games 
* Air Rifles Gym/Sports 
*Railway Jiggers

Introduction To DECIMALS


WALT: understand decimals.
Task Description: For maths we were learning about decimals. We had to answer all the questions and do what it told use to do. But what do was we had to write the number from what it said in words. and in money.

Task Description: For literacy we had to learn about Tame Iti. So what I did was I did a genealogy about him and facts about him too. To me we should try learn more about Maori  and what they go thought.
